Senior PHP Developer with knowledge of accounting systems
Web Office Systems are an established niche software house. We have recently launched our 2nd generation browser based office system. As a result of this we are experiencing significant growth and are looking to add to our team an additional full time Senior PHP Web Developer. You will be working with a small team of other web developers and process analysts and will report directly to the technical director.
The person we are looking for will need a strong understanding of accounts and accounting systems (Sage, Opera, SAP etc..) as much of our time is spent working with the finance departments of client companies to migrate their data and amend our systems to their exact requirements.
The role will require occasional travel and you will need excellent communication skills as you will regularly be client facing.
Requirements:
- Solid background in PHP programming with mySQL (hand coding only)
- Excellent HTML, AJAX, Javascript
- Knowledge of accounts and accounting systems
- Good communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- A good team player with positive attitude
- High degree of enthusiasm
In addition to the above, which are a must have, any additional programming language skills and experience of system integration a significant advantage.
